ScanBuddy was born from our time spent in the field, using the existing non-destructive testing (NDT) equipment available at the time. Finding many products challenging to use in real-world situations, we decided to manufacture our own. Our team at Scanbuddy bring a combined total of 50+ years in the Non-destructive testing (NDT) industry. We offer client product support and also offer product training and support. We also offer to consult on problematic issues clients may have, including third-party verification on client sites.

Jacques has almost 30 years in NDT holding PCN and ASNT qualifications in Ultrasonic (Conventional and Phased Array) and Eddy current testing, after completing his studies in Electrical Engineering, and combining the two fields to create better inspections and equipment for the industry. Philippe has 30 years in NDT, holding PCN and ASNT qualifications in Ultrasonic (Conventional and Phased Array), MPI and Eddy current testing after completing his studies in Mechanical and Robotic engineering.
