The Boiler Buddy Tube Scanner is made to fit in small clearances and is versatile enough to scan sub-20 mm up to 110mm tube diameters. (The standard kit can scan the range from 19mm to 80mm, but extra leg extension links can be added to go up to 110mm.)

Simple & Versatile
Its spring-loaded clip-on design ensures increased productivity and versatility. It requires a minimum clearance of 16mm between tubes.
In the dual probe setup, the links holding the two parts of the scanner together, are flexible enough to ensure probe contact, even when tubes are misaligned or not straight. The links are low profile and, therefore, can clear high weld caps.
Three-Point Contact
The signal cables are safely enclosed by a spring metal harness, and the encoder wheel is held onto the surface with a three-point contact design, to ensure that it always makes contact. The probe spacing is easily adjustable with two grub screws.
