Adjustable Probes
The scanner is equipped with a spring-loaded probe holder with varying spring tension adjustment, running on stainless steel linear bearing. This ensures smooth and accurate movement. The probe holder can be adjusted to suite the nozzle type. They can also tilt to give the optimum perpendicular down force to the probe. Adjustable probe width makes fitting probes quick and easy. Probe holders can adjust to accept most standard ultrasonic and phased-array probes and wedges. Only basic tools needed for any adjustments.
Easy-to-Use
Three axis represent Circumferential Axis, Squint Axis and Probe Offset Axis. Powerful neodymium magnetic wheels ensure secure attachment to ferritic test surfaces. Additionally, a belt attachment system can be used for non-ferritic nozzles, where the design of the belt allows complete revolutions without obstructions. Can be installed and used by a single operator.
