Weld Inspection
The TOFD Buddy Scanner operates in any orientation on surfaces from 3” pipe up to flat plate, and is suitable for inspecting welds on pipework, pressure vessels, storage tanks and structural components.
Compatible with most suppliers of TOFD transducers and wedges, the TOFD Buddy frame allows the wedges to be easily fitted into the arms, so that interchanging a wedge is quick and easy. TOFD Wedges of any material and angle, can be used thanks to our adjustable width probe forks.
Ideal Training Tool
Often used as the ideal training tool, the TOFD Buddy is suitable for use by inspectors of any level due to its simplicity, reliability, and quick wedge interchange.
TOFD Buddy has an internal encoder for encoded feedback to the attached TOFD Equipment.
